What a wonderful and thoughtfully written Piece. I was, like most children who are now approaching 80-years, brought up by Parents/Community & 'local Religious leader' to Believe in the Judeo-Christian Faith.

I was a thoughtful, considerate and obedient child and thus did what-I-was-told. But by the age/stage of 18-21 I began to follow other Understanding and Doubts which always were the 'other-side' of my youthful reasoning.

In college and all the years thereafter I reached for books by R. Buckminster Fuller, Heinlein, Sitchin and Velikovsky. I read books and attended lectures on every culture and religion I could, including my own. If I have any 'religion' it is that of believing in reading-widely.

True 'Being' to me is thinking independently regardless what ones' parents and leaders attempt to persuade us otherwise.

Persons who choose to "Believe" will generally not do so of course, but would be far richer were they to explore outside their 'trained'-from-childhood Faiths. I am at 78 still reading, listening and now 'streaming' objective INFOrmation. I am more secure than ever that there is no God...UpThere.

Where the Multiverse is concerned, I listened to Lawrence Krause, your writings above and others' objective theories on the subject. Interestingly enough any [scientific] notion of a Multiverse and other such studies are far more credible than our theories on a "God".
