The sheer fingerprint of emotion

Captures most mightily the mind,

In a wholly excitable prism we call religion.

Peoples do not pray for just one thing;

Nor just a single reason alone. But instead

Many other areas for inspired fortitude.

Among the many splendored things

Upon which rests our sense of safety and

security, is the desire for belief and worship.

We thus seek comfort and relief in an

Idea and or ideal of a Heaven (UpThere)

Somewhere. We do not on the other hand

Choose that opposite fiery hole which

Symbolizes a dark Demon’s lair of Hell.

This has been so since gazing up at shooting stars

From time immemorial. Expecting something

Miraculous and thinking we are ‘saved’.

Certain things in the night skies tend to capture our attention.

From Holy chariots, to Alien ships —

Elements which spark our fertile imagination.

Things which bespeak an effect of gods-to-God(ism).
