Live your life / As fully as you can.

One could perhaps say we should: / For this warm entity is the only sort

Of living frame we will have! / Since there is no Hereafter;

Nor any Heaven or Hell. / Being is far more ‘bland’ than all that.

We are simply Star-Stuff. / Combined remnants of materials

Once blasted forth / In all directions eons ago.

It takes a dying sun / To explode and ‘gift’ to us

Those simple and elegant / Elements it takes to make up

The miraculous stains of ‘life’ that / pumps wildly within our frail bodies.

Four-score — or more years / The latest extended scope of

Our fragile existence. / Then again we fall apart!

Death this time though, surely / Will not be the same. Initially

It was far flung elements of gold and lead; / Hydrogen and oxygen.

Then again are we not / In our next death-spiral;

Rather like the measure / Of all those bountiful

Exploding stars which showered us / With their own sweet “life”?

We now choose to stroll out across / The length and breadth of

This pale blue planet that we cherish. / Wholly circling a glowing sun

Masterfully guarding it’s flock. / Cycle in an assigned orbit of ‘the heavens’.

Radiating down a precious life to its / Decennially-appropriate Apostles.

Acting as it were, the sustaining central-Savior. / While once again, as before;

It truly is a wonderfully / Whole Wide ‘World Without End’ — amen..
